Autumn is Tennessee means apple picking, corn mazes, hayrides and a quest for the perfect pumpkins.  Whether you want to carve it or cook it, you’ll want that perfect orange globe to grace your home or kitchen. So where to go? Here are some of the best “pumpkin patches” in Tennessee:

Boyd’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Explore acre Corn Maze, then head for the Pumpkin Patch and your choice of pumpkins and gourds. Pumpkins are 25 cents per lbs with most averaging 8-20 lbs ($2-$5 each). Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, weather permitting. Boyd’s is located at 1425 Hwy 76 in Clarksville.

Fender’s Farm and Corn Maze in Jonesborough

Located in East Tennessee, Fender’s Farm in East Tennessee is not just about pumpkins. With more than 50 activities,  visitors can roam a traditional corn maze or ride the pumpkin train, play Zombie Paintball or fire a pumpkin cannon.  A huge pumpkin patch has pumpkins large and small for every member of the family. Fender’s Farm is located at 254 Highway 107 in Jonesborough.

Mayfield Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch in Athens

Before you pick your perfect pumpkin (up to 40 lbs of pumpkin), try ziplining across the landscape at the Mayfield Corn Maze first. Take the entire family on a hayride, check out an assortment of “hauntings,” and watch the hillbilly pig races.  Conveniently located between Knoxville and Chatanooga in East Tennessee, Mayfield Corn Maze is located at 257 Hwy 307 E in Athens.

Lucky Ladds Ag-venture Park

Luck Ladd’s is brimming with adventure. The farm is home to the largest petting farm attraction of it’s kind in Tennessee featuring hundreds of friendly farm animals and exotic livestock. You will learn about a variety of domesticated farm animals and enjoy unique live encounters. Get up-close and personal to pet, snap selfies, love and hug our sweet friends in Lucky’s Barnyard. You’ll see cows, goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, chickens, turkey, pea-fowl and more! Guests can enhance their experience with the purchase of animal feed snack bag for $1 and literally have the animals eating from the palm of your hand.  Pony rides are also available on this 60-acre park. Cruze Farm Corn Maze in Knoxville

Knoxville’s Cruze Farm, located on the banks of the French Broad River,  offers a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and homemade ice cream. Cruze Farm is located at 3200 Frazier Road.

Granny Wall’s Century Farm in Southside 

Education activities (meets TN & KY Standards), Farm Animals, Playground, Pavilion. Fall activities include Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze, Haunted Corn Maze, Starry Night Hayrides on Friday nights by reservation. Arts & Crafts, Playground, Picnic Pavilion available year-round. Retail store, restrooms. Handicapped accessible, including hayrides. Find Granny Wall’s Century Farm at 1219 St. Michael Road in Southside.

Keller’s Corny Country in Dickson

The Niblett Express barrel train, filled with happy children, meanders across the landscape. Moms and Dads chat over gourmet coffee in the gift shop. Kids will also love the Corn Crib — a slide that launches them into a bin of corn kernels. Not to be overlooked, you’ll find traditional pumpkin patch activities like a corn maze and pick-your-own pumpkin patch as well. Keller’s Corny Country is located at 542 Firetower Road in Dickson.

Honeysuckle Hill Farm in Springfield

Singing chickens, pig races, a cow train and tons of pumpkin-related activities await you at Honeysuckle Hill Farm in Springfield. With more than 75 activities, there’s plenty of fun to be had. Special seasonal events include the Night of Lights, where Halloween music will sync with a light show and 1,200-square-foot fun house. Honeysuckle Hill is Located at 1765 Martins Chapel Church Road in Springfield.

Donnell Century Farm in Jackson

In West Tennessee, take part in a Monopoly-style scavenger hunt in the Donnell Century Farm’s eight-acre corn maze. You’ll also enjoy giant slides, corn-filled sandboxes and classic animal care like milking cows and gathering eggs. And don’t miss the chance to win a cupcake in the Pumpkin Walk. This farm is found at 3720 U.S. Hwy 70 E in Jackson.

Falcon Ridge Farm in Toone

Last but not least, ride a pony or pet the farm animals at Falcon Ridge Farm. Take a stroll through the pumpkin patch or wind your way though the corn maze using horse-related clues for hints. Falcon Ridge Farm is located at 22630 Highway 18 North in Toone.
