Julia’s love for food started at a young age when she spent summers at the cottage with her grandparents, watching them grow fruits and vegetables and raise chickens. She was born in Russia and moved to Canada when she was a teenager. Her love for baking led Julia to embark on a year-long journey to complete a Bakery Arts evening program at George Brown College and receive a Bakery Arts Certificate.
After a few years of scribbling recipes on post-its and loose sheets of paper, Julia started her website, Imagelicious, where she began writing down her favorite recipes along with some memories, stories and notes. Cooking and baking turned into a passion, which in turn sparked a love of photography. Now, Julia’s photographs can be found on the menu of a few Toronto restaurants. Julia lives in Toronto with her husband and daughter.
The book is available in paperback on Amazon for $14.57 or as a Kindle for $9.99.
