Marker 66 to open at Paris Landing

BUCHANAN: Marker 66 Marina and Grill at Paris Landing will open August 10, with a grand opening scheduled for 5 p.m.  The new restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a waterfront facility. Marker 66 refers to the marina address at TN/KY Lake marker 66.2.

Grand opening events include the traditional ribbon-cutting, door prizes, music by Step N Time, giveaways of state park merchandise, and samplings from Tennessee Brew Works.

Marker 66 will be in operation as the existing 130-room Paris Landing Inn is demolished and replaced by a 65-room resort. The new restaurant and bar features both indoor and outdoor seating on the marina dock. Its menu features healthy options for all meals as well as local classics. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Commenting on the development at Paris Landing, District 75 Rep. Tim Wirgau said, “We are excited that the administration has answered our request to have a restaurant located on the state park grounds for folks to enjoy while we are in the process of rebuilding the Paris Landing Inn. Be sure to take advantage of Marker 66 and its beautiful setting.”

Marker 66 is located at 41 Paris Landing Marina Drive in Buchanan.
