CLARKSVILLE: Train 36ixty offers Middle Tennessee’s first ever-elite basketball combine! Basketball players from eighth through 12th grade in Montgomery County, Clarksville, Dickson, Erin, Cumberland City, Springfield, Dover, Nashville Counties, Murfreesboro, Hopkinsville, Kentucky counties, Murfreesboro and surrounding areas are invited to join Train 36ixty at Austin Peay’s Foy Recreation Center, 451 Marion Street, Clarksville, Tennessee, on Saturday, August 4th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special rates are available for teams, groups and multiple children who play sports.

A basketball combine lets high school basketball players show off their athletic ability with timed/measured events like the shuttle run, lane agility drill, vertical jump, and full-court sprints. Unlike basketball camp, there’s little or no basketball instruction involved. Qualified individuals with experience at the professional level will administer these tests. Basketball combines can offer tangible information about athleticism, so athletes can see just how they measure up against other basketball recruits. Knowing the areas that need improvement can be beneficial when competing against other athletes for basketball scholarships.

Middle Tennessee is taking this opportunity to take the lead in supporting youth in sports performance knowledge by offering the 1st Basketball Combine in the city. “The vision presented for Clarksville’s inaugural combine is quite impressive as Train 36ixty brings 10 years of solid playing, coaching, and conditioning experience.”
