Birdwatchers: Cruise the Cumberland with ornithologist Melinda Welton

ASHLAND CITY:  Sail along the Cumberland  with TennGreen and Blue Heron Cruises and leave the shoreline behind. The boat departs from Riverside Park in Ashland City (175 Old Cumberland St, Ashland City) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26.
Hop  aboard for this guided cruise led by ornithologist Melinda Welton. The boat will head  up to Eagle’s Pass on the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail—three miles of stunning bluff lines protected by TennGreen in 2000. Along the way you can spot heron, and assortment of birds native to the area, and perhaps an eagle.
Free to members of TennGreen; $10 for non-members. If there is a rain cancellation, the event will be held the following Saturday, June 2.
