KNOXVILLE: Christmas in the City is Knoxville’s most anticipated winter festival. Our city dresses for the holidays with lighted trees and decorations – including the popular and growing Up on the Rooftops displays – plus dozens of events guaranteed to bring holiday cheer!

Window Wonderland

Downtown Knoxville will turn into a Peppermint Trail with windows of restaurants and merchants decorated with the peppermint theme. Merchants and restaurants will also have peppermint items for sale! Grab a hot chocolate and stroll around downtown to enjoy trees, windows, doors, and patios dripping in lights and dipped in peppermint. Businesses will be decked in decorations to add to the over 100,000+ lights and garland draped throughout trees and parks.

WIVK Christmas Parade
December 1. 7:00  p.m.
Parade will start on Church Avenue near the Coliseum, then turn right onto Gay Street, then turn right onto Jackson Avenue and will disband in the Old City past Barley’s. Join us for everyone’s favorite parade, the WIVK Christmas Parade. Bands, dancers, lighted floats, characters and Santa Claus parade down Gay Street and brings fun holiday spirit to all!  To enter a float in the parade you will need to fill out an application with WIVK

Christmas at Chilhowee

Balldrop at Midnight.Bring in 2018 with your friends and family on Market Square. Bicho Brothers will perform at 10  p.m.  Ball drop at Midnight.
